As we get up and running here at Stitchology we want to make sure that there is something for everyone! We will be having multiple topics at multiple levels of sewing experience. When picking a class feel free to use our ~Experience Guide~ to help you pick the classes that are right for you. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
Sew-Curious - Are you trying to decide if sewing it right for you? Maybe you don't even own a machine yet but would like to give sewing a try. If so, this is the class level for you. In the studio we have a certain number of excellent machines that you may use during these classes. You can also rent time on these machines during open sew nights so you can get comfortable on a machine before making the decision to buy.
Sew-New - You have a machine, it might be new or just new to you. You can sew a seam and maybe make some simple repairs but you want to learn more and want someone to hold your hand and be there to answer questions as you venture into some more complex projects.
Sew-Ambitious - Bring it on. You are in LOVE with sewing and have been known to ditch other obligations and opportunities just so you can get a bit more quality time with your machine. You want to see what you and your machine can really do but would love technical pointers and support. Maybe you are even thinking about getting a bigger or better machine and want some advice about that.
Sew-tastic - You are rekindling your love of sewing. You were once queen of the machine or at least knew how to thread the dang thing but life got complex and the machine went in to the closet for a while. You are ready to pull it back out and get back to the world of thread, pins and patterns. You might even be thinking about a serger or an embroidery machine to round out your re birthed passion
But maybe sewing is not your thing!.. but crafting is, or at least you want it to be. Are you....
Craft-Curious - As you walk into Hobby Lobby .. it makes you tingle with the excitement of possibility but then you remember you don't know what the heck you are doing or where to start. You yearn to embrace your creative side but want help to make sure your projects are a success! You want gentle no-pressure help with lots of chatty fun besides.
Craft-Ragious - You love creating, you are building quite the stash of crafting supplies already and want to learn lots of new techniques and projects. Maybe time is short so having all the supplies ready for you is a huge help. You love crafting with others in a relaxed atmosphere and a glass of wine never hurts either!
